WHAT IS THE NEW

ART WORLD?

Is it a world where we all understand creativity, and use our creative gifts to experience our lives the way we want, the way we dream and the way they where meant to be ?

We dont have to create stuff like

- paintings - images and sculptures??

to be artists, we can -

A. think creatively

B.act creativively

C. DEMAND MORE AUTHENTICITY FROM

THOSE WHO PRODUCE AND SELL US STUFF

first lets ask...

WHERE DOES ART SHOW UP IN OUR WORLD?

ENTERTAINMENT

BRANDING

FASHION

MARKETING

INTERIOR DESIGN

TRENDS

LITERATURE

NATURE

TASTE

PUBLICATION

BELIEFS

PRODUCTS & SERVICES

HOW DOES ART SHAPE OUR BEHAVIOUR, OUR LIFESTYLES AND THE STORY WE CREATE ABOUT OURSELVES?

SHAPES PERCEPTION

SHOWS A MIRROR

ALLOWS EXPRESSION

CULTIVATES ASPIRATION

CREATES IDENTITY

TRENDS

AIDS UNDERSTANDING

SHOWS US TASTE

DREAM BEYOND THE EVERDAY

CREATES DESIRE

 DOES ART IMPACT

THE WIDER WORLD?

Yes. The art world impacts the wider world through culture, business, politics, education, technology and the way people see themselves and each other.

Art influences what we value, what we remember, what we question and what we believe is possible. It can challenge established ideas, shape public opinion, reflect society or imagine something different.

SO....YOU'RE SAYING ART/ CULTURE SHAPES OUR THINKING, DECISION MAKING, EVERYTHING -  WHY ARE WE NOT TOLD THIS  ?

SO YOU CONSUME

SO YOU IDENTIFY WITH CIRCUMSTANCE

SO YOU FUNCTION

SO YOU NEGATE

SELF AGENCY

SO YOU OWN CREATIVTY

SO YOU STOP IMAGINING

SO YOU OWN VALUE INFORMATION OVER AWARNESS

SO YOU THINK ITS DRAWING

SO HOW CAN WE USE ART FOR CHANGE?

CHANGE DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH INFLUENCE

DOES CULTURE HAVE ON YOUR LIFE.

SO...

WE ARE ALL LIVING ON THIS PLANET TOGETHER AND LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER, ACTIVELY CREATING...

CULTURE IN REAL TIME...THROUGH THIS CULTURE WE CAN SEE WHAT WORKS AND DOES'NT, WHAT'S REAL AND IS'NT...WHAT WE CAN DO AND WHAT CANT....

AND HOW WE THINK (PERCEPTION) - WHAT WE DO (ACTION) AND WHY WE DO IT ( ASPIRATION)

DRIVES US ALL.

WEATHER YOUR PURPOSE IS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY,

TO PURSUE A LIFE OF LEARNING AND INNOVATION TO ATTAIN SECURITY,

WEALTH OR HEALTH, OR CREATE , CONTRIBUTE TO OTHERS....

THE QUESTION IS -

ARE WE CONSUMERS OF ART (CULTURE) OR CREATORS

IN OUR OWN LIVES?

IF WE ARE INFLUENCED BY OTHER PEOPLES CREATIVITY OR CULTURE... THEN PERHAPS WE MAY BECOME CONSUMERS OF IT, VIEWERS OF IT -

INFLUENCING US IN EVERYTHING WE DO AND WHO WE THINK WE ARE...

IS THIS GOOD? REAL? BENEFICIAL?

HO

HOWEVER

IF WE CHOOSE TO UNDERSTAND CREATIVITY EG-

ITS POWER TO INSPIRE AND INFLUENCE,

ITS INFLUENCE ON OUR MINDS, CONSOISNESS AND ACTIONS,

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EACH ONE OF US HAS THE POWER TO CREATE OURSELVES, TO PRACTICE CREATIVITY AND EVOLVE A MINDSET THAT ALLOWS CREATIVE AGENCY TO SHAPE OUR LIVES ....

THEN PERHAPS WE -

THE PEOPLE BECOME

THE ART WORLD

SO IF OUR CULTURE IS ART THEN THE ''ART WORLD'' MUST IMPACT IT? YES OR NO?

PERHAPS ITS

TIME FOR VISIBILTIY?

PERHAPS WE NEED TO KNOW WHO IS THE CREATOR - WHO IS THE SELLER AND WHO IS THE AUDIANCE?

WHY ASK NOW?

YES - Perhaps now, more than ever, we need to reconnect with what makes us human: our ability to feel, interpret, imagine, question and create.Perhaps we can explore a different way of thinking about the art world.

One that makes the creative process visible, brings artists out of the shadows and reconnects them with the people and resources that can help their ideas become reality. One that asks whether creativity can be more than a commodity, and whether our relationship with art can become more open, meaningful and empowering.

Lets ask better questions, challenge established thinking and invite people to participate in the conversation. Artists, patrons, audiences and anyone curious about the role creativity plays in our lives are welcome.

Perhaps it’s time to question not the value of art, but the world we’ve built around it. And to imagine what might happen if we built something different.

A CREATIVE ECO SYSTEM

is what happens when artists, patrons and audiences work together openly, honestly and visibly. By making their roles, intentions and relationships visible, we expose what is really happening, revealing how creativity, resources and human experience can work together to inspire the world.

It is a system where we move beyond consumption, manipulation and conditioning, and begin contributing to the world we want to create.
