WHAT IS 101 CURATION?
101 Curation brings original art directly to people in their homes, businesses and events through intimate, engaging and informative experiences.
Led by artist Jai Sol, we bring together art, hospitality and a team of creatives and experts to help you experience art differently. Meet the artist, discover the thinking behind the work, ask questions and exchange ideas in a setting where you can feel comfortable, curious and involved.
From one-to-one experiences to business events and curated gatherings, we make art accessible, personal and part of everyday life.
WHY ART?
Art is at the centre of everything. It is in how we see the world, how we interpret it, how we adapt, how we think, how we live, how we form relationships and how we express who we are.
Yet we have become accustomed to consuming what others create without necessarily understanding the creative process behind it, or recognising how that process influences our lives.
101 Curation exists to make art understandable, attainable and accessible. Through the work of artist and founder Jai Sol, we want people to discover that seeing art, feeling art and interpreting art are creative processes in themselves.
Once we understand this, we can begin to apply that awareness to our own lives, our thinking, our actions and the choices we make. We begin to recognise our own ability to interpret the world rather than simply accept it as it is presented to us.
A DIFFERENT WAY TO EXPERIENCE ART
Traditional art experiences can feel distant, intimidating or difficult to enter. The language can be complicated, the artists can feel hidden, and the experience can leave people wondering whether they understand enough to take part.
We change that.
We bring the art to you, creating an environment where the artist is present, questions are welcome and ideas can be explored without pretence. Through conversation, storytelling and the knowledge of our creative team, we make the work easier to connect with and give you the opportunity to discover what it means to you.
Art doesn't need velvet ropes or complicated explanations to be meaningful. It needs the opportunity to connect with people.

We believe there is an opportunity to create a different relationship between art, business and the people businesses serve.
Businesses bring people, resources and opportunities together. Artists bring imagination, new perspectives and the ability to challenge how we see things. Audiences bring their own experiences, questions and interpretations.

Working alongside hospitality venues, businesses and event organisers, we create experiences where art becomes a starting point for conversation, connection and discovery. People don't just look at the work. They meet the artist, exchange ideas and become part of the experience.
MAKING THE
INVISIBLE VISIBLE
This is why we have placed the artist, the patron and the audience at the centre of our thinking.
Historically, patrons have provided artists with the resources to create, while audiences have experienced the work that emerged. Today, it can feel as though the artist has become invisible, standing in the shadow while business and commerce focus directly on the consumer. The creative thinking behind what we buy, use and experience becomes disconnected from the people who made it possible.
We want to make that invisible relationship visible again. We want the artist to be seen, heard, understood and brought into the conversation. We want patrons to recognise the value of the creative mind beyond the finished product, and audiences to understand more about what they are experiencing, where it comes from and how it shapes their perception of the world.
When all three are visible, something interesting can happen. Creativity can flow more freely. Conversations can become more honest. Ideas can be challenged, perspectives can change and people can discover possibilities they might never have considered.
WHAT COULD WE CREATE TOGETHER?
We do not want to live in a world where a few people create and everyone else simply consumes. We want a world where the people who imagine, invent and innovate are acknowledged, respected and included in the conversations that determine what happens next.
And this way of thinking need not stop at art. It can permeate business, education, technology, politics and every other area of society where creative thinking, invention and innovation shape our lives.
Because when we begin to understand art, we begin to understand more about ourselves and the world around us.
We become more aware of the choices available to us, more conscious of the systems we participate in, and more capable of shaping the lives we want to live.
101 Curation is about making the creative process visible, so that we can recognise its value, understand its influence and bring more creativity, awareness and humanity into the world we create together.
